The Sennheiser SK 2020-D is a digital bodypack transmitter for use with the Sennheiser 2020 tourguide system. The transmitter has a mic socket to connect either a lapel or headworn microphone. An aux socket is also incorporated to connect an external audio source such as a CD player or smartphone. The mute switch enables the presenter to speak over a track or mute the microphone.
This transmitter allows the guide to conduct their tours hands-free allowing them to describe an object, point out an item of special interest and express their point.
The transmitter can be easily and comfortably operated, and is highly robust. The back-lit display confirms channel choice, the radio signal and the status of the battery.
